Damn, I still can’t believe I took home 1st place in last night’s beat battle, shit is crazy… Y’all wouldn’t believe it if I told you, but I was really the underdog in every way possible, but I pulled it off somehow… Lol. Oh well, I guess it’s like I always say: #AllBastardEverything
For the Bastard’s sixteenth #RemixWednesday installment, he pays homage to one of his favorite rappers, the original Bastard: ODB.

Today I was featured on a LA based weekly beat cipher/mixtape curated by Beat Team Supreme. Pretty dope stuff, check it out here:

In anticipation of Dirty & Nasty’s long awaited Black Gold release, That Purple Bastard releases his remix of a remix, “Parking Lot Pimpin’” originally featured on the EP Fool’s Gold. This track will be part of a full remix collab between Dirty & Nasty and Purple Bastard entitled Purple & Gold, which is scheduled to drop early next year.
For the fifteenth installment of Purple Bastard’s #RemixWednesday series, the Bastard returns to the trap, giving Waka Flocka’s “Hard In The Paint” an OG funk makeover.

Had a couple of tracks that I produced featured on The Underground Vol. 1 which was put out by the homies over at Optimo Radio. I produced track 16 (Renzo - Represent) on Disc 1 and track 3 (OneHunnidt ft. Doughbeezy - Salute You)on Disc 2, but the whole damn tape jams. You can pick that up here. Remember, if it ain’t local, it ain’t live!
For the fourteenth installment of his #RemixWednesday series, the Bastard returns to one of his most infamous subjects, Danny Brown (for whom he previously remixed the track “Lie4”). This time he bastardizes the upbeat “Grown Up” (originally produced by Party Supplies) in a way that only he can.
This song is also part of a remix contest where you win cool stuff, check that out here:
